UTP Cable Production
We are investing in state-of-the-art machinery to begin local manufacturing of Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cables, which will cater to the growing demand for high-speed, interference-free data transmission.
Our upcoming UTP product line will include:
- CAT5e, CAT6, and CAT6A cables
- Indoor and outdoor jacketed versions
- High-flexibility options for smart building integration
- Quality-compliant with international TIA/EIA and ISO standards
Networking Equipment
To provide a complete connectivity ecosystem, OFS is preparing to launch a series of networking products that complement our cable solutions:
Wireless & Surveillance Solutions
Understanding the evolving needs of ISPs, smart homes, and surveillance networks, we are also entering the wireless communication and camera market, with products designed for seamless integration and scalability:
- Wi-Fi Extenders & Access Points - To improve coverage in large spaces.
- IP & Smart Security Cameras - With features like motion detection, remote access, and cloud backup.
- NVR Systems - For centralized monitoring and video management.
- Quality-compliant with international TIA/EIA and ISO standards
Why This Expansion?
With Bangladesh experiencing rapid digitization-from smart cities to rural broadband penetration-the demand for end-to-end networking infrastructure is at an all-time high. By entering these complementary product segments, OFS aims to:
- Reduce dependence on imports.
- Support ISPs and IT integrators with locally available, high-quality alternatives.
- Create a vertically integrated solution ecosystem for fiber and copper-based networks.
- Strengthen national self-reliance in ICT hardware manufacturing.
We are currently in the final stages of product development and factory line setup. Production and commercial release of these new product lines are expected to begin by mid-2026.
